Compton Verney

The brochure said this was a great venue for photography so off we went, Technophobe and I, and paid our entrance fee to this fantastic place. It was full of amazing priceless Henry Moore and Rodin sculptures.

All was well, lovely light, fantastic location - until a man comes scurrying up asking if I was a professional. As if!!!!

"You arent allowed to use a tripod because we don't allow professionals"

We assured him we weren't professionals after which he became a little more friendly (I think he was actually a little embarrassed to be following orders)

"You see" he continued "we once had a photographer who assured us that his pictures were for his personal use and before we knew it they were up on a website"

"Oh no" we replied "we wouldnt do anything like that"

Would we?
