Today I got glasses. After years of not being able to see things far away, everything seems so sharp now. It also means that I can finally learn to drive! (Previously I couldn't read the numberplate so couldn't learn).
They're only for driving, cinema or 'working in a large room' (no, that one was weird to me too), but it's so exciting to be able to see properly again.
