Piebald Mare & Colt, Burnhervie

The piebald mare and her colt that we first spotted (see here and here) back in June last year, and still see regularly on our way to & from Inverurie (though rarely finding an opportunity to stop and photograph them on this quite busy, winding road).

Here we see that the colt (nearest to the camera) has lost the 'skewbald' colouring he had as a young foal, and is turning out to look very like his piebald dam.
