Lava
Ok ok it's not lava.... It's actually solder.
The room next to my office is where a lot of wires get soldered onto circuit boards for various projects we work on. The room is constantly getting messy followed by a big clean up then the cycle happens all over again. Today it's somewhere in between so I thought I'd take the opportunity to take an image of the solder splodges (if that's a word) that cover many surfaces.
They are not pure by the time they get flicked onto a surface but I think the impurities add another texture and element to them, when I first shot them they looked very silvery and seemed almost mono, but I noticed when my hand went near they reflected my skin colour, so that's where the rusty colour comes from.
I don't know why but I seemed to be looking at everything on a small level at the moment, I'll try and go wide tomorrow with a portrait or landscape.
Thanks for looking.
