Stupidly Attached

This is Sam. He's 8, and I've had him since he was 6 weeks old.
My life has been a series of ups and downs, as everyone's is to some extent, but certainly with a few more corkscrews and loops thrown in. Sam had been my constant; we've never been apart more than 2 weeks except for 6 months when I moved to Wales. This photo doesn't do him justice but today he is sleepy after many walks with a lovely local dog-sitter whilst I sampled the delights of Chester. My lovely little man, I dread the day I'll be lost without him.
