Ok. This is a little nerdy.

We have developed a DC desk as a test bed.

All those little inefficient transformers in phone chargers, computers, monitors, lights, etc. all go to make one big lump of inefficiency. We think they should all be fed from one super efficient transformer. Everything in the desk plugs in to USB ports.

There's also a battery so that in the future world of power cuts because of fuel shortages you can keep working!
