Freaky fungi

Tiring day with a lot of microscopy and cycling across Cambridge. Made better by some lemon and almond polenta cake in the afternoon though.

Some of the fungi we culture in petri dishes in the lab grows in really cool patterns. I like the colours in this one. Not sure if anyone knows why they change colour like that though..
