Adventure day 3

My husband is just lovely. His idea for our three days off this week was to do three walks in three countries. The Malverns on Tuesday, Wicklow yesterday and Snowdon today!! I love exploring the outdoors together; breathing in the fresh air, the open, uninterrupted views, walking with one another without any distractions and having that sense of achievement at the end of the day.

Although every part of my being loves walking, my knee sometimes complains. Tom says I am like mountain goat going uphill but unfortunately downhill my old knee injury slows me right down! This picture is another of Wicklow because we decided against Snowdon today. My knee was not up to it and actually we spent the day relaxing at home- we think perhaps Snowdon had been quite an ambitious plan, especially given today was our second 4am start to catch a flight in as many days...

Anyway, it has been a beautiful surprise three days of adventure. Thank you Tommy, you are so fun, thoughtful, loving and definitely ambitious.
