Meeting our expectations

The best of breakfast locations this morning: Fifteen on Watergate Bay. We were made very welcome and had the best bacon and egg butty and eggy bread. And we got to watch the surfer too. A wander down to the beach for a closer look and the sun came out against expectations and forecasts.

This afternoon was a return visit to Padstow for a purchase and a trip to Rick Stein's patisserie for tonight's pudding. We walked around the coastal path towards Newquay and dropped down 133 steps into Lusty Glaze for a pint and some people watching. And then tea at the pub next door and a very special performance.
