Dandelion ready to release.

This is the first I have seen this year, a pristine example and the precursor to a host which will follow in the next few days. The wood (and our garden) is in places carpeted with yellow flowers all reflecting the sunlight with such intensity and bordered with leaves which are gorgeous in a salad.
