Exhausted!

Not this Pileated...but me! I took this early in the morning and then we went Kayaking.
8 miles, we had a nice current but also 30 mph headwinds! My first experience with 'white water', well off-white water...Class I rapids :) Remember, I'm from the part of Florida where Kayaking is usually done on very slow moving, gentle, very clear spring-fed rivers! This Arkansas river was not 'scary' but a bit of a challenge! On the way home we stopped for $1.99 Margaritas! Now a hot shower and a nap is in my immediate future!

We saw a Golden Eagle, several Bald Eagles, an Osprey, several Kingfishers, Great Blues, lots of Crows a water Snake, and Turtles! And me without my camera:(
