I"M EXCITED!

Yes I'm excited!...On my way home from coffee, via the river I spotted this Kookaburra sitting on a branch. I did a u-turn and was around 4 metres (16 feet) away and realized he was sleeping. I only had my 50mm F1.8 on the camera but I thought I might be lucky and at least get one shot. Never give up there is always a chance you could get lucky. I walked slowly towards the Kookaburra and was only 2 metres (6 feet) when he woke up, made a noise and flew off...YES..I"M EXCITED!
