The first day of the conference is done.

The keynote was by Bill Liao from Coderdojo, an Irish based organisation dedicated to helping kids learn to code. I started setting one up in Peebles a couple of years ago, but didn't get very far. Maybe it's time to try again.

After the main sessions there were a series of shorter 'lightning keynotes'. Chris Oldwood used visual puns that had us in stitches. I'm pretty sure they don't translate well.
