Aliens of Edinburgh

Ever since I was a kid, I'd assumed that Gerry Anderson had came up with the idea for Thunderbird 3 on a visit to Edinburgh - it was just an orange, three-legged version of the Scott Monument.

So it's always fun at this time of year to see it hemmed in by a big wheel and a flying saucer.
