Another Day

That tree again

Whilst I was washing the breakfast dishes a female greenfinch landed on the sunflower heart feeder with a beak full of dead grass and proceeded to try and eat. Eventually she spat out the grass, had a good feed and cleared off. Dead grass on the patio. Naturally my camera was upstairs.

A walk down to the shop to pick up a few bits so I can feed son and grandsons later. They are probably hoping for a Chinese takeaway, being Friday, but we'll have one tomorrow instead. I'll get the third degree from the chap who runs the taekeway but I'm getting used to that. "Where you last Friday?" "It's Sunday". "You not here last week, where you bin?".

This is the tree from another angle.
