Magnolia tree flower development

Called into Cuerden Valley park on my way back from work this afternoon to check on the progress of the flowers on the Magnolia tree there.

Although the flowers are progressing well they do seem to be later than others in the area, possibly because it's in quite a windy spot so possibly a little cooler and less sheltered than others around.

I will re-visit it next week to see how it's developing.
