"A Walk in the Woods"
Shadows, shapes and shrubbery. Oh, and bluebells. Bluebells, in early April? Well yes. I don't think I've ever seen them this early before.
The location is Nunnery Wood, an extension of Worcester Country Park, a small(ish) forested area of about the size of "33 football pitches" (according to an info panel there). This same info panel says that it is "ancient woodland" which, apparently, is defined as anything that goes back to at least the 1600s, although this particular patch of woodland is considerably older than that.
It was a pleasant day for a woodland walk, which I did whilst my wife was having a coffee and a chinwag with a friend and the friend's mother aged 89.
