Graveyard of the Boats

Walk out to Purton on a nice spring evening to have a walk around the boat graveyard. A number of boats are dumped here, many are then filled with concrete, as a way of shoring up the banks of the Seven. Those that have been filled with concrete end up having their wooden hulls rot away leaving just a concrete cast of a boat.

This one has not been filled with concrete, but it is definitely rotting away.
