Branch Line

Walking the route of the City Road Goods Branch; a short stretch of railway line that led from Horton Park to the City Road Goods Station.

The cuttings are all filled in, the sidings and station are all buried beneath the huge Grattan warehouse, but the legacy is this sliver of green running north from Great Horton Road (my One Street), which is just behind me in this picture.
