Schiehallion
Not one of the best blips but certainly on of the best Scottish Mountains.
We left the rain behind in Aviemore this morning and headed home. From the A9 we followed the scenic route over the hills to Trinafour and Tummel Bridge then veered off on Schiehallion Road to Kinloch Rannoch.
Majestic Schiehallion has an almost perfect conical shape when viewed from Kinloch Rannoch. The line of latitude midway between the most northerly and southerly points on the Scottish mainland, and the line of longitude midway between the most easterly and westerly points, intersect closely to the summit of Schiehallion causing it to be referred to as the centre of Scotland.
Backblipped with 7.4.14, 8.4.14, and 9.4.14 - please have a look if you have the time.
