Trolls?

Something has been throwing the trees around like matchsticks - maybe some Norwegian trolls have escaped and come to visit Argyll? (have you seen Trollhunter, one of the strangest films I've ever watched on Netflix, strange even for Nordic noir!) Or maybe it was the winds this winter that came from an unusual direction and took down the shallow rooted pines in their way... It wasn't humans - the many tyre tracks on this forestry road are from harvesting higher up the hills.
