Another sign of spring

I've been watching these blossoms slowly open and decided today to snap a photo. I like the color against the brown and gray of the river and bare trees in the background. Within a few hours of this photo being taken, there was a steady rain most of the day.

Did some errands after work and now have to pack for myself, Mr M and Riley for an overnight trip to my parents' house. I'll pick Mr M up from his work and tomorrow we are helping my parents dispose of refuse from a camper that collapsed from the weight of snow. Right now it's a pile of scrap in their yard. Hopefully tomorrow it will all be loaded on our trailer and disposed of.
