debating and gaitherin'

up and out sharpish this morning to take nervous wee daisy off for her last day at the gaitherin' before the big concert tonight. pep talk about being confident in her abilities on the way there and she seemed fine going in.

then I sped off into town with gillian and john for brian taylor's big debate - which was great. I'm too feart to ask a question but gillian did, and then she challenged labour mp anne begg later when she was speaking crap about trident. go g! brian taylor was great - big man, tiny hands - very good at his job.

then after a swift town hall meeting, we headed off to the gaitherin' concert. I was nervous for daisy, but she was brilliant! nae bother. she also played us flower of scotland on her chanter again in the car on the way home, it was perfect. teacher granda was impressed. eve was also ace in her singing group, although I wanted to see her more, she was behind other folk. she looked exactly like a 10 year old gillian on that big screen!

a well deserved jammie-day promised for daisy and eve tomorrow. well done steve 'n davie!
