Gentle Giant

This is Jimmy. I first saw him last week and thought he'd be an interesting person to photograph, but I was a bit intimidated. I drove past him today and immediately pulled the car over. We chatted for a good while and I found Jimmy to be a very gentle soul. Some of his tattoos are in honor of lost loved ones and he was happy to show them off to me. His goal is to cover his entire head/face with ink and maybe do the rest of his body at some point. Glad I stopped to talk.

I considered posting a different photo of Jimmy, cropped tight on the head, but ended up liking the background better this way. Just seemed to convey the encounter more accurately...
