Evolution

Another bedtime surprise.

Nice day with Grandma and Grandpa at Down House, where Charles Darwin lived and worked for 40 years. Apparently he thought it was rather ugly, but bought it because it was fairly cheap!

C, J and H now old enough to show some of an interest and more importantly allow me to do so. I can even remember a few things now, several hours later.

Visit was followed by a pub lunch in the village, then back home for our holiday afternoon movie, a spot of gardening plus a brief bike ride with J and H around the top of vale.
