D is for demolition

I mentioned the letter 'D' spray painted onto this house near me back here.

I guess it's a bit like when a surgeon is going to do something to one of your limbs. They use a black marker to make an arrow to point to the knee or whatever body part is going to be operated on.

No excuse for taking down the wrong house.

I felt sharp and gobbled up work today. That's good. It's also been good to have a catch up with Dad on the phone late this afternoon. He's doing ok. We discussed the relative merits of hot cross buns and what makes a good one. He's doing his research :-)

Dinner out tonight. But it's dinner at a restaurant in Ashburton, a 1 hour drive each way. Fortunately I'm not driving.
