Caution, Wet Floor

I've already written about my poor elderly cat. One of the joys of owning an 18 year old house cat with an unhealthy digestive system is that he throws up. On the carpet. A lot. Usually 2 or 3 times a week, invariably bringing up the full meal he's just eaten. In a huge pile on the carpet. Lovely.

It's also inevitably before my husband gets out of bed. So I clean it up, soak the area in carpet cleaner and leave it. Then he comes downstairs and treads in the wet patch. And shouts.

So this week I invested a fiver in one this yellow plastic sign to place over the wet patch to ensure my husband doesn't step in it and thus enable marital harmony :)
