Clockwork

Today is our Alcester Singers Easter Concert. I went in to help put chairs out and thought this old clock mechanism would make a nice picture.

It used to power the clock in the tower of St Nicholas Church in Alcester. The clock is unusually positioned on the south-west corner of the tower enabling it to be seen clearly from the high street as can be seen in this earlier Blip
