First steps on the Bridge

Friends who have been following my Journal may remember I posted a photo of a tree trunk which had fallen over the Dighty Burn and asked if anyone would be brave enough to cross it. Well, our grandchildren are with us for another weekend and as the weather was bright I suggested we went for an adventure.

The two girls started out crawling a little way over but then came back. Sophie, the younger at 8, decided she would cross over on her own. She managed to crawl the whole way which was very brave. Afterwards, she said she would walk the next time!
