the bus boke from hell firmly forgotten, we took it easy in the morning and sauntered around the (relatively) quiet streets of jaisalmer. a fine city with fine, friendly people to boot

with a bit of time on our hands the dawes was persuaded that a cheeky toe dip into the camel safari pool would be just the ticket. and indeed it was. a bum numbing jeep ride out to the desert, followed by a bum numbing 1hr camel ride got us to a great spot to see the sun come down on another brill day in rajistan (the cold kingfisher beer helping us forget the bum bumping along the way)
