Lempäälä Canal at 9pm

Lempäälä is situated on an isthmus between the lakes Vanajavesi and Pyhäjärvi which are connected by the canal of Lempäälä. The canal was built during the 1870s and is still in use.

I was driving home to Tyven after my first Friday evening classes this spring, when I noticed how beautiful the coloured lights were on the surface of the water.
