Cowslips

Wild Cowslips growing on our back lawn. They come up every year and are a joy to look at but it is a nightmare trying to mow round them. We usually transplant some of them into the front paddock to try and add to the wild flowers already there. I noticed this year a group of them have started spreading into the pasture so hopefully this is the start of something!

N went down to the hospital in Dorchester for a check-up which was successful except the main road was closed in two places owing to accidents on his return but this gave him a chance to drive over the Downs between Piddlentrentide and Cerne Abbas. He usually checks up on the progress of other people's crops! Meanwhile at home the gardening became too much as the heat rose so I came inside to cool off. Not used to warm weather!
