Day One

C had a rough night once the nerve block wore off. Why do things always seem so much worse in the night than during the day?
She has slept most of the day and will stay in high care tonight so she can continue to receive intravenous pain killers.
It's been so very hot today and despite the air conditioning it's pretty hot inside; one disadvantage of a unit with so many windows.
