Sun& Shine Barefoot Walking Day

Visiting grandmum's today. I had some extraordinary lovely shots of the birds of grandmum's birdfeeder today - woodbecker, caffinch, tit, sparrow, robin and blackbird - but I work on these bird captures later and enter them maybe only to Facebook or/and Flickr.

Because this grass subject won the blip prize today - even if it is a bit dull and surely not the best as a capture today, but the feeling inside really is!

You see one of the best things in life, in this God forsaken cold land, is to step barefoot on the warm grass - today was the first time this year! We have had exceptionally warm spring this year and have no more snow - which feels like a great miracle to me! Normally this situation like today is at earliest the beginning of may, and normally snowless really day&night warm (over +10c) summer months are only june, july and august...

So sun and shine today, a nice warm day, +9c in shadows. Had a nice couple of hours walk with hubby and camera (my before-xmas-injured-knee is far better already) Not all the ice had melted from the coastline of Mallasvesi lake yet. Warm wind. Just lovely!
