Tree Swallows singing

Early errands this morning had me swinging by McKenzie Marsh in Aurora in the early morning light. LOTS of migratory songbirds have arrived and were singing and calling their heads off. I counted at least six tree swallows and a dozen or more red-winged blackbirds. I also spotted a male song sparrow, some house sparrows, a male goldfinch starting to get his colour, plus a few geese and ducks. The waters of the marsh have thawed.

These two tree swallows were very patient and let me get close. Here they are singing to each other on top of nesting box 209.

Really nice viewed LARGE.
