History on the high street!

Over to Worcester for the Nurses League committee meeting this evening. As D is in hospital we are staying at the Premier Inn which is next to the river Severn and adjacent to the cricket grounds. Nicely situated for walking in to town and along the paths.

We walked up to the High St. For all the years I’ve lived / visited Worcester, I have never noticed this old building. I went in to the shop to ask the young man about it. The store only uses the ground floor as the rest of the building is unsafe, but it is a listed building and was originally an ale house. I haven’t been able to find any more details about it yet.
