Une tempête des pétales
A storm of petals
I wandered around the town, reacquainting myself with the sights and atmosphere. This is a two minute walk away from the school where I used to work, and I spotted this man enjoying his lunch break in the sunshine. It made me sad and happy that I used to do that too...
In the afternoon I headed round to Caroline and Sylvère's...to see them, but also to see their gorgeous baby daughter Zoé. She is absolutely adorable, and I love seeing how much she's grown and developed since I last saw her in October...she's almost taking her first steps, and she is absolutely adorable in what she is learning to do. You almost can't tell her off, especially when you tell her 'no', and she turns around and starts shaking her head at you! Such a lovely day, and so nice to see my extended French family.
In the evening I went out for dinner with Meg and Becky...Kendra, of course, arrived a lot later, and we ended up going for a quick drink afterwards in Tour Solidor joined by Meg's friend. After that I headed back to chez coloc', had a quick chat with everyone and then headed to bed.
