A TREASURE CHEST IN MY KILN

It's not necessarily going to be used every time I produce charcoal, but this old metal chest will enable me to produce much more artists charcoal in a batch than the usual biscuit tin, and maybe we'll manage to char some sculptured wood. We'll see about that in due course. For the moment, though, I really ought to be producing BBQ charcoal as somebody somewhere is going to start using loads of it, any time now.
