The last days of summer

This afternoon my young border collie, Zoe, who adores the beach, was finally taught to swim by my son Duncan - they can be seen bottom right in the photo. The small beach in the photo is 50m from the famous Sandy Bay beach in Cape Town which is in a prinstine nature reserve and has a really great path to walk our dogs. In a strange parallel world, we locals - fully clothed - from nearby Llandudno, walk our dogs amongst the unclad naturalists and neither group seems to be aware of the other. Sandy Bay can be seen as the next bay in the photo. The weather is changing to winter in 2 days time - so this is a really last wonderful day of summer.
