Picked up the company car at Linlithgow this evening as I need it for the weekend and next week.

Just after leaving I noticed the fuel gauge warning light on and the display showing just 6 miles of fuel left.

Headed to the petrol station at the South Queensferry, holding my breadth all the way - it's a 9.6 mile journey according to Google maps!

Thank goodness for the little village of Newton and their garage - just 7 miles from Linlithgow - and a traffic-free and mostly downhill route to get there.

I'm sure the car was running on fumes as I turned in to the forecourt!!
