Elegant and sophisticated.....

I accompanied my very talented and creative friend this afternoon to collect her entry into the Elegant and Sophisticated Hat competition at the Royal Horticultural Halls in Victoria. The entire hat was made from plant material and had to be decorated with orchids. She rightly gained a Highly Commended for her exhibit.

We got back to the station with 30 mins to wait for the train so celebrated with a mug of hot chocolate, and shared a plate of chips!
