Kanasta

Popped in to see an old friend today, and this is one of their cats. Kanasta is one of Elphaba's sisters. Her other sister also lives with Kanasta. The three cats were hand reared by myself, my ex-husband and my daughter about 7 years. We found the 3 kittens in our falling down shed and upon advice from the cats protection league we rescued them. We also tried to capture the mother, but she was elusive. We then needed to syringe feed them. The 2 kittens my friend took were originally called Fatso and fussy knickers. This one in the photo is fussy knickers. Named so because she was so difficult to syringe feed.
Kanasta is enjoying a lovely tickle on her tummy by my daughter.
