Thatched cottage

We visited my sister's friends in the small village of Kemerton (near Tewksbury) and went for a lovely walk up the hill behind their house after lunch. This is one of the original houses in the village, now split into 3 dwellings. The lady who lived there left the orchard behind the house to the people of the village, so they could share the amenity (and the crops) and to make sure the land would not be developed.

M & B are very talented, making fused dichromic glass objects and working with wood. This description really does not do justice to the beautiful things they both create, quite wonderful to see them all.
