Saltaire United Reformed Church

Saltaire Village is near Bradford in West Yorkshire on the river Aire, named after Sir Titus Salt who built a textile mill and houses for the workers.

Sir Titus also paid for this church to be built in 1859 as a focal point for his model village.

The church is now a Grade 1 listed building and Saltaire Village is a World Heritage Site. The mill is full of Hockney pictures, books, artists materials, ceramics and lots more.

There are several shops and cafes and well worth a visit.

Lovely sunny day, but a very cold and blustery wind!
