A happy young stag!

Just look at his face - the cutest thing I've seen in a very, very, long time (Alfred excluded of course!). He was in a boggy area on the edge of a stream, where I wasn't expecting to see him. We were on our way to Mr K's sister's and brother-in-law's for brunch. I had my bright new trainers on when I spotted him. My walking boots were in the car for 'deer blip-stalking' later, but of course I didn't have time to change into them. But did I care? NO! Welfare of shoes or shot of deer...? Hmm - no contest! :-)
