Time for a break from homework ....

This is my choice for our next bookclub book...

I thought we should mark the centenary of the outbreak of 'The Great War' (!) with a book choice about it. I'm about a quarter through and it is, indeed, harrowing but compelling at the same time. I don't know where it is going yet ... and it is keeping me turning the pages.

So ... as I've just 'done' P's books ready for his next tax return I think I'm due a quiet cuppa and a few more pages.
