"This little Light of mine"
My Mum kindly gave me some presents to bring for her Great Grandsons, Corey and Tyler when we visited her.
Sadly Mum has not visited them, and they are not good road travellers.
She has spoken to them by phone and loves them very much.
In this photo Tyler is holding up the wind up torch my Mum sent.
They were a ladybird and a bee design.
The Kinder eggs and Easter eggs were quickly put off limits until Easter.
My son and his wife may be very young parents, but they have gently instilled values and discpline and routine into the lives of the energetic and exuberant Corey and Tyler.
They attend a good Anglican Church and this morning helped on a cake stall to help raise funds for the needs of the Church, a small yet picturesque rural one.
It is dry, sunny and very cold here today.
I went to Christian Fellowship this morning and met some new people as well as my old friends.
I feel a little home sick for my family in Surrey and thank God for the happy times we shared.
So many of the older generation have reached their eighties now.
We did cover a lot in the days we were there and the weather was very kind to us.
Maria has two hefty pieces of uni coursework to complete before she goes back on Easter Monday to start term again on 22nd April 2014.
Her holiday has been wonderful and full of activities and meeting her home friends.
We are catching up with all the TV we missed, including The Final of The Great British Sewing Bee and the final of the Voice.
Have a lovely Sunday blipper friends.
