To Be Prepared

The time of our annual canal cruise is rapidly approaching.

The crew, some may refer to them as a Mottley crew, have a certain division of labour.

My job is to provide refreshments. So here you see a five gallon brew of Woodforde's wherry bitter beer being started today. There will be red wine and a rhubarb champagne provided as well.

As we will be going on the Rochdale Canal, some might think this an appropriate Lancashire connection.
