War of the Worlds

It's not really been much of a day for being outdoors today in the West of Scotland but when the rain eventually stopped my son Joe and I headed out to take some photos.

I couldn't resist this shot of these cherry pickers all set up and looking intimidating and menacing just like the machines in HG Wells novel?

This was taken near South Street in the Scotstoun/Whiteinch area of Glasgow.
