Enjoying the sunshine

I went for a walk in the beautiful Ceiriog Valley this afternoon. It got warmer and warmer as the day went on and I even had to part with my jacket!
There were wild flowers and insects everywhere, it was lovely to see the orange spot and peacock butterflies flying around.
This tiny hoverfly was basking in the sun on a greater celandine, it had picked a lovely sun trap there.
